Spice companion models for reactive elements

Capacitor = current source (par) resistor
Inductor = voltage source (ser) resistor

Weird, because I would assume the other way around. Why?

   I = C dV/dt

Aproximated, with T timestep.

   I(k) = (C/T) V(k)-V(k-1)
        = C/T  V(k) - V(k-1)C/T
        = g(k) V(k) - i(k)

So clearly resistor (par) current source.
