PF is weird
Looking at the code again, It does look like I learned a lot with
Staapl.. Overall PF is usable, but full of these little wrong things
all the way to the bottom. I'm not sure if it will be possible to
clean it up to my liking. Some are quite naive approaches in
retrospect. I.e. I'm using 'eval' a lot, which indicates I really
missed a proper macro system.
But most of them are the dirty kind: writing too lowlevel (splatted)
code. Instead of writing code that is factored as a sequence of
consistent steps, a lot of C code "unpacks" into inconsistent
temporary representation.. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this well
though.. It's mostly about memory management.
