abort is for console only. if a program does not have an attached
console, abort really doesn't make any sense. so, what i need to do is
to replace the abort handler in the stream loading code with an
exception handler, and move the abort handler to the console code.

error during console command interpretation -> caught by exception
error during any other task -> kill tasks

ok, streams now use exceptions. that's better. let's see for abort.
ok, that seems to work with a remaining bug for the error reporting.
