Bricked it

Was upgrading the .trx, connection cut out and it won't respond any
more.  I'm not sure if this was me pressing the wrong key
mouse-overing the terminal, or if something is really wrong.  I did
change some things in the kernel config recently.

Console reads "Boot program checksum is invalid" and drops into CFE.
From there it's probably possible to download it using tftp.
