We're there. It's no longer feasible to think of "my computer". I've
got a bunch of servers, desktops, laptops and routers and on top of
that boards like beaglebone xm, beaglebone black, raspberry pi, and
some older linux dev boards that can run linux.
Systems that can run linux will become smaller and more plentiful over
the next couple of years, so it's time to start thinking about
networks in a different way. I.e. as a single system.
Erlang seems a natural choice, so time to bite the bullet.
