TTY, SERIAL, DIAG

I'm completely confused now...

There seem to be several layers of serial drivers on eCos for the AT91:

Hardware serial drivers:

CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL_ARM_AT91
CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL_ARM_AT91_SERIAL0-2

CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL_TTYDIAG
CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL_TTY0-3

CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL_TERMIOS
CYGPKG_IO_SERIAL_TERMIOS0-3

CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_CONSOLE_CHANNEL
CYGNUM_HAL_VIRTUAL_VECTOR_CONSOLE_CHANNEL_BAUD

* What is the difference between all these and the simple diag_* polling
  input/output?

* How do you enable just the debug IO in polling mode, and set the
  baud rate?

From what I tried, enabling all of them will link multiple consumers
to the DBGU port.
